<br />ORDINANCE 81-7 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 900 BY DEFINING AND ALLOWING FOR GROUP <br />HOMES AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN AGRICULTURAL AND RESIDENTAIL DISTRICTS <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: <br /> <br />Section 8. Section 8 of Ordinance No. 900 of the Elk River Municipal Code which <br />relates to definitions used in the Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended <br />by adding two subsections as follows: <br /> <br />29.1 - Group Home, Residential: A building or structure where <br />persons reside for purposes of rehabilitation, treatment, or special <br />care. Such persons may be orphaned, suffer chemical or emotional im- <br />apirment, or suffer social maladjustment or dependency. <br /> <br />29.2 - Group Home, Resident: A person residing in a group home for <br />the purpose of receiving rehabilitation, treatment, or special care. <br /> <br />Section 16. Section 16 of Ordinance No. 900 of the Elk River Municipal Code which <br />relates to conditional uses within zoning districts is hereby amended <br />by the addition of subsection 1 - L, 2 - e, 3 - d, 4 - f to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1 - L - Group Homes <br /> <br />2 - e - Group Homes <br /> <br />3 - d - Group Homes <br /> <br />4 - f - Group Homes <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 7th day of December, 1981. <br /> <br />C?J~ ~t' <br /> <br />Richard Hinkle, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />
