Call meeting to order October 14,2008 <br /> President Jerry Takle called the October 14,2008,meeting to order at 5:04p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Utilities Agenda <br /> John Dietz added Sam Diehl,attorney for Gray Plant Mooty with another item to be <br /> discussed before Staff Updates. <br /> Jeny Gumphrey moved to approve the October 14,2008,Utilities Agenda. John Dietz <br /> seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> Lineman Art Gatchell,asked to be added to the Agenda. <br /> John Dietz moved to amend the previously approved agenda to include the lineman. Jerry <br /> Gumphrey seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> 3. Consider Consent Agenda <br /> John Dietz wanted to verify the financials that were showing the water department falling <br /> short and the electric department perhaps exceeding expectations for the year,staff affirmed. <br /> Jerry Gumphrey questioned some checks issued to some contractors,staff responded it was <br /> for ongoing projects. Jerry Takle asked why there were so many refund checks,staff <br /> responded it was to clear out credit balances on accounts. <br />
