Elk River Softball Concession Association Request for Non-Intoxicating Malt <br />Liquor License <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the Elk River Softball Concession Assoc- <br />iation has requested that the City Council consider authorization of a non- <br />intoxicating malt liquor license for the softball field concession stands. <br />The City Administrator indicated that the Association will provide insurance <br />as required by the City Council. <br /> <br />Discussion of the profits and who the Association actually consisted of was <br />held. Councilmember Schuldt indicated that he felt the individual teams would <br />look out for themselves concerning the Association and the profits from the <br />sale of the 3.2% beer. <br /> <br />.CpUNCILMEMBER DUITSMAN MOVED TO APPROVE THE NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE <br />FOR THE ELK RIVER SOFTBALL CONCESSION ASSOCIATION PROVIDED THE CITY OF ELK <br />RIVER OBTAINS AN INSURANCE BINDER FORM THE ASSOCIATION AND DETERMINES WHO THE <br />ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS. COUNCILMEMBER ENGSTROM SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION <br />PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />Administrator's Update <br /> <br />A. Cable"TV <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that he has been appointed Chairman of <br />the Cable TV Commission. The City Administrator further indicated that <br />the Commission ~onsists of Big Lake, Elk River, Monticello, and Buffalo, <br />and that the Commission has received proposals from Watertown, Rockford, <br />Delano, Cokato, Dassel, Annandale and Dayton. The City Administrator <br />further indicated that Becker has indicated their interest and buying <br />into the Commission. <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that the City Council should appoint an <br />alternate director from the City of Elk River to this Commission and further <br />suggested that John Urseth from the School District be considered. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER DUITSMAN MOVED TO APPOINT MR. JOHN URSETH AS AN ALTERNATE <br />DIRECTOR TO THE CABLE TV COMMISSION. COUNCILMEMBER GUNKEL SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED 4-0. <br /> <br />B. Computer <br /> <br />The City Administrator indicated that he has met with the City Staff regarding <br />a needs analysis for the City of Elk River. It was the consensus that the <br />
