ORDINANCE 83-6 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 802.04 - APPLICATION FOR LICENSE - OF THE CITY'S CODE OF ORDINANCES The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section 802.04, Subsection 3, of the City's Code of Ordinances titled,"Liability Insurance" be amended to read as follows: 3. Liability Insurance. Prior to the issuance of a liquor license, the applicant shall file with the City Administrator as follows: (a) A certificate that there is in effect an insurance policy or pool providing the following minimum coverages; (1) $50,000 because of bodily injury to anyone person in anyone occurrence, and, subject to the limit for one person, in the amount of $100,000 because of bodily injury to two or more per- sons in anyone occurrence, and in the amount of $10,000 because of injury to or destruction of property of others in anyone occurrence. (2) $50,000 for loss of means of support of anyone person in any one occurrence, and, subject to the limit for one person, $100,000 for loss of means of support of two or more persons in anyone occurrence; or (b) A bond of a surety company with minimum coverages as provided in clause (a), or (c) A certificate of the state treasurer that the licensee has deposited with him $100,000 in cash or securities which may legally be pur- chased by savings banks or for trust funds having a market value of $100,000. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after the date of its publication. Passed and adopted this 18th day of Ap ril , 1983.
