<br />ORDINANCE 83-4 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1008.22- <br />IMPROVEMENTS REQUIRED - OF THE CITY'S SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 1008.22, Subsection l(C), of the City's Subdivision <br />Ordinance titled, "Improvements Required" be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />C. Paving - The City Council may require that all streets and alleys be improved <br />with a concrete or bituminious surface. Streets to be paved shall be sur- <br />faced for a seven (7) ton axle weight capacity in residential areas and a <br />nine (9) ton axle weight capacity in commercial and industrial areas, unless <br />otherwise required by the City Council. If the City Council determines that <br />streets are not to be paved, such streets shall be surfaced with six (6) <br />inches of stabilized gravel to a surface width of thirty (30) feet, or such <br />other width approved by the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 2.
