<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 88 - 7 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 900.24 - PARKING & LOADING <br />REGULATIONS, SUBSECTION 11 - LANDSCAPING AND SCREENING <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 900.24 (11) of the City of Elk <br />River Code of Ordinance titled, "Landscaping and Screening" be <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />d. Landscaping and Screeninq - All loading berths shall <br />be screened from view from the property across the <br />street frontage and/or from the zoning district boundary <br />when the adjacent property or property across the street <br />frontage or side street frontage is zoned or used for <br />residential purposes. Said screening shall be <br />accomplished by a solid wall not less than eight (8) <br />feet in height and shall be so designed as to be <br />architecturally harmonious with the principal structure. <br />Screen plantings may be substituted for the prescribed <br />wall; however, such plantings must be of such type as to <br />permit a minimum of eighty (80%) opacity during all <br />months of the year. <br /> <br />Trash receptacle in mUlti-family, commercial and <br />industrial zoned districts must be screened on all <br />sides. Such screening shall be a minimum of 4 feet high <br />but must be higher than the trash receptacle. Screening <br />must be a design that is compatible with the structure <br />it serves. <br /> <br />Section 2.
