<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 89 - 20 <br /> <br />CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE LICENSING <br />OF REFUSE AND GARBAGE COLLECTORS <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does ordain as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 602.00, Subdivision 3. <br />Definitions is amended to read: <br /> <br />3. "Refuse collector" and "garbage collector" shall mean <br />any person holding a valid license from the City for the <br />purpose of collecting or conveyinq refuse and garbage <br />within the City. <br /> <br />Section 2. That Section 602.08 is amended to read: <br /> <br />602.08 - Licensing of Refuse and Garbage Collectors and <br />Haulers; Application and Insurance. <br /> <br />1. No person shall engage in the business of garbage or <br />refuse collection or conveyance in the City unless such <br />person shall first secure from the City Administrator a <br />license to do so and pay the license fee herein prescribed. <br /> <br />Section 3. That Section. 602.08, Subdivision 4 is <br />amended to read: <br /> <br />4. The annual license fee shall be as duly set by the <br />Council bY resolution from time to time. Such license <br />shall expire December 31 of each year. <br /> <br />Section 4.
