<br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 4.7 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent August 2, 2021 Jessica Miller, Deputy Clerk <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Appointment for Planning Commission Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />Vacancy <br />Reviewed by <br />Cal Portner, City Administrator <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Appoint, by motion, Dennis Booth, to the Planning Commission for a term to begin immediately and expire <br />February 28, 2023. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Alexander Feinstein submitted his resignation from the Planning Commission. Per the Advisory Board and <br />Commission Policy, applications will be kept on file for one year and if a vacancy occurs during the year, the <br />Council may make an appointment from the applications on file. <br /> <br />There were three applications on file from the most recent recruitment in February. One of the applicants is no <br />longer interested. The Council appointed the other applicant, Craig Keisling, to the Planning Commission in May. <br />One application remains on file for Dennis Booth.
