The law requires that at its next open meeting, the <br />Commission shall summarize its conclusions regarding the evaluation. Chair Dietz provided the <br />following statement summarizing the Commission’s conclusions regarding the evaluation. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br />The Commission conducted a performance evaluation of General Manager Theresa Slominski. A <br />form scoring Ms. Slominski in several different categories was reviewed in detail. The form had <br />been filled out by all five commissioners and the management staff of ERMU, along with City <br />Administrator Cal Portner. <br /> <br />The Commission gave Ms. Slominski high marks for stepping in after former General Manager <br />Troy Adams left in May 2020. After interviews with outside candidates failed to produce a new <br />general manager, Ms. Slominski took the job and provided a smooth transition. <br /> <br />The Commission suggested a few areas for Ms. Slominski to work on in the coming year. Overall, <br />the scores given to her by staff and the Commission were above average. <br /> <br />The Commission was very appreciative of Ms. Slominski’s willingness to take on the general <br />manager role at a critical time for the organization. Staff and the Commission feel that ERMU <br />has not missed a beat with Ms. Slominski in the general manager role. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />39
