<br />tit <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 91 - 24- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SECTION 906 - <br />WILD AND SCENIC RIVER MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />The City Council .of the City of Elk River does ordain as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 906 of the City of Elk River <br />Code of Ordinance titled, "Wild and Scenic River Management <br />Ordinance" be established to read as follows: <br /> <br />pectio~ 906 - Wild and Scenic River Management Ordinance <br /> <br />906.00 Purpose and A~thor~~~t~on The purpose of this <br />Ordinance is to regulate development within the Mississippi <br />Wild, Scenic, and Recreational River District, as required by <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 103F.301 to 103F.345. <br /> <br />906.02 - Scope and InterpretatiQ!l <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />1. The provisions of this Ordinance shall apply to the entire <br />area within the designated Recreational River Land Use District <br />as described by the Management Plan for Parts of the <br />Mississippi River; Minnesota Rules, parts 6105.0910 to <br />6105.0950. <br /> <br />2. The provisions of this Ordinance shall be interpreted to <br />be mInImum requirements. The provisions of any other <br />Ordinance, statute or rule which imposes greater restrictions <br />or provisions not addressed by this Ordinance shall apply <br />within the lands controlled by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />906.04 General Provisjons All applicable minimum <br />standards set forth in Minnesota Rules, parts 6105.0800 <br />6105.0960, especially parts 6105.0870, Subparts 6 & 8, are <br />hereby adopted by reference and made a part hereof as fully as <br />if set forth herein. Copies of the applicable regulations and <br />rules shall be kept on file in the office of the City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />906.08 lls~~ The uses allowed within the Mississippi <br />Recreational River District shall be those prescribed by the <br />Zoning Ordinance of the City of Elk River and any other <br />Ordinances controlling the use of land within these areas, <br />except that marinas are prohibited. <br /> <br />906.10 - Sanitary Facilities <br /> <br />-- <br /> <br />1.
