Human Resources Manaeer <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, the promotion of Adult Detective Sergeant to Administrative Captain effective May 18, <br />2021. <br />Background/Discussion <br />On May 17, 2021, the Council recognized the promotion of Adult Detective Sergeant Joe Gacke to <br />Administrative Captain. Captain Gacke is filling the position vacated by Captain Bob Kluntz due to retirement <br />which was effective May 28, 2021. <br />Captains Gacke and Kluntz utilized the period of time from May 18 until Captain Kluntz's departure to prepare <br />for the transition. <br />Captain Gacke will begin at Paygrade 4E, Step D. This is not a union position.
