While they are still <br />working on program details, it’s highly recommended that we reserve rooms for those <br />planning to attend. The tentative schedule can be found on MMUA’s website at: <br />https://www.mmua.org/event/summer-2021. <br /> <br />• Per the Governance Policy G.3e General Manager Performance Planning and Evaluation <br />and consistent with Governance Policy G.3d Monitoring Performance of the General <br />Manager, the Commission conducts a formal evaluation of the General Manager during <br />the second quarter of each fiscal year. Theresa Slominski’s performance evaluation will <br />be conducted during a closed session at the June 8, 2021 commission meeting. An email <br />invitation with the link to the performance evaluation will be sent out next week. <br /> <br />• The Communications Department has been working on marketing materials and a new <br />page on our website featuring heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) rebates. <br />Flyers to promote the HVAC rebates and a brand new WIFI thermostat rebate will be <br />going out with the May bills. Attached are copies of the bill inserts. <br /> <br />• April and May social media posts will feature a variety of topics including: Drinking <br />Water Week, Earth Day – honoring participants of the Clean Energy Choice Program, <br />spring cleaning for energy savings, recognition of the Tom Bovitz Memorial Scholarship <br />Award winner, and announcements such as upcoming commission meeting dates and <br />the water operator career opportunity. <br /> <br />• Members of the Administration Department met April 21 to establish a plan and <br />schedule to complete the Governance Policy Manual Initiative. This will involve <br />reviewing the policies that were transferred over during the separation of manuals and <br />updating if necessary, formatting the polices, and creating any new policies that were <br />identified. <br />283
