Elkio <br />River <br />Councilmember Beyer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />City of Elk River <br />City Council <br />Resolution 21-23 <br />A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging <br />Contributions <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and <br />individuals for their contributions to the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a donation of $2,500 from Colleen Houle with <br />the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for a bench memorial at Bailey <br />Point Nature Preserve as outlined in the city's parks and recreation donation policy. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths <br />vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Paul and his team for their donation. <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councihnember <br />Westgaard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor <br />Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson, WesWaard, and Beyer and the following against: none, <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />The following members were present: Ma�-or Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson. <br />Westp= ard, and Beyer and the following absent: Councilmember Wagner. <br />Passed and adopted this 5' day of April 2021. <br />ATTES <br />Tina Allard, City Clerk <br />U <br />a <br />n J 7ietz, ayor <br />w <br />P0NE0E0 01 <br />NATUREJ <br />
