<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 87 49 <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING A VARIANCE <br />TO THE MUNICIPAL STATE AID REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is considering a Municipal State Aid <br />improvement project on Main Street (MSAS #113); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, part of the consideration in the design of the improvement <br />will be sidewalk width in the downtown area; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of El k <br />River, Minnesota. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. The City of Elk River, hereby, requests a variance to Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation State-Aid Operations requirement 8820.9916 <br />Minimum Design Standards for 45 Degree and 60 Degree Diagonal Parking. <br /> <br />2. Specifically, the City of Elk River requests a variance to reduce the <br />traffic isle width for 45 Degree Diagonal parking with a present ADT of <br />over 3000 from 25.2 feet to 22.2 feet. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted this 31st day of August, 1987. <br /> <br />(-... / / <br /> <br />~;iEK)~~.
