<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 87- 42 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River has <br />acknowledged the need for additional police services <br />and has authorized the hiring of an additional full <br />time licensed police officer, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, until this additional police officer is hired by the <br />City of Elk River, the City Council has authorized the <br />use of full time licensed police officers to work for <br />the City of Elk River in a part time capacity. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River, Minnesota that on July 27, 1987, the City <br />Council does hereby declare that the positions held by <br />David Hurd, Jeffrey Beahen and Steven Knutson are that <br />of a "Police Officer" as defined in Minnesota Statutes, <br />Section 353.64 Subdivision 2, pursuant to which said <br />employee shall become a member of the Public Employee <br />Retirement Association Police and Fire Fund. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />this 27th day of July, 1987. <br /> <br />Cdi/it ?
