<br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 4.10 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent April 5, 2021 Brandon Wisner, Engineering Project Manager <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />MS4 Permit Application Signing Authority <br />Reviewed by <br /> <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, granting authority to Justin Femrite, Public Works Director/Chief Engineer to sign and <br />submit the new Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) application to the Minnesota Pollution Control <br />Agency. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />The city, as an MS4 operator, is required to submit a new application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br />Our current 2013 permit will expire once our new permit is issued. Once our application is deemed acceptable, it <br />will go out for a 30-day public comment period.
