<br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 4.9 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent April 5, 2021 Zack Carlton, Planning Manager <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Jackson Street Water Tower: Agreement to Peter Beck, City Attorney <br />Accept Ownership and Transfer Property to <br />Reviewed by <br />City <br /> <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, an agreement accepting ownership and long-term maintenance of the Jackson Street Water <br />Tower and property. <br /> <br />Adopt, by motion, the resolution approving transfer of the Jackson Street Water Tower from Elk River Municipal <br />Utilities to the City of Elk River. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />The repair and painting of the Jackson Street Water Tower has been a topic of discussion for many years, and <br />thanks to the hard work of the Heritage Preservation Commission, the city has now positioned itself to complete <br />the improvements.
