<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 87-19 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONDITIONS OF A LIMITED <br />USE PERMIT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />FOR SUPERVISING A WAYSIDE REST AREA ALONG HIGHWAY 10 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River and the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation has discussed the City Obtaining a <br />parcel of property along Highway 10 from the Department <br />of Transportation for its use as a wayside rest area; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River reviewed this <br />proposal on May 12, 1986 and unanimously approved a <br />motion to accept this property from the Department of <br />Transportation; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River intends to use the property along <br />Highway 10 as a Wayside Rest area and accepts <br />responsibility of the parcel of land; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River desires this piece of property to <br />improve the aesthetics of the Highway corridor and to <br />provide a wayside rest area for the traveling public; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River accepts the terms and conditions <br />of the Minnesota Department of Transportation Limited <br />Use Permit. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River in Sherburne County that the Mayor and City <br />Administrator are hereby authorized to enter into a <br />limited use permit with the Department of <br />Transportation for a triangle shaped parcel of land on <br />the south side of Highway 10 lying East of Morton <br />Street. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />this 6th day of April, 1987. <br /> <br />(li' h!
