<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 87- 4 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE TURNBACK OF TRUNK HIGHWAY 201 TO THE CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has indicated a <br />willingness to turnback Trunk Highway 201 to the City of Elk <br />River, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the portion of Trunk Highway 201 Right-of-Way north of the old <br />City of Elk River corporate boundaries was originally acquired by <br />MnDOT from Sherburne County, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River will have five (5) years to prepare a plan <br />and ten (10) years to implement approved improvements to a turn- <br />back roadway utilizing MnDOT Turnback Funds. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ELK RIVER, <br />SHERBURNE COUNTY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />1. The City hereby requests the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation to turnback Trunk Highway 201 between <br />Trunk Highways 10 and 169 to the City of Elk River. <br /> <br />2. The City hereby requests that the turnback process be <br />expedited as quickly as possible by the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River, this <br />12th day of January, 1987. <br /> <br />f".' .
