Call Meeting to Order <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council <br />was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Dietz. <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br />Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />3. Consent Agenda <br />Moved by Councimember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember Beyer <br />to approve: <br />4.1 Fire Station #3 bid category #5A, Steel Supply to Distinctive Iron in <br />the amount of $382, 956.25 <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />4. Joint Meeting with Economic Development Authority and Housing <br />and Redevelopment Authority Downtown Vision and Goals <br />Each board called their meeting to order. <br />Mr. Carlton discussed parking: what is public versus private; and perceptions about <br />walking distances comparing the downtown to a Walmart lot.
