<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 86- 42 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY STUDY, ORDERING PROJECT, <br />AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />BITUMiNOUS OVERLAY PROJECT FOR KNOLLWOOD, KNOLLWOOD WEST, <br />XNOLLWOOD WEST 2ND ADDITIONS AND ALL PROPERTIES ABUTTING <br />ULYSSES STREET NORTH OF 199TH STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River City staff has held an informational <br />meeting on May 15, 1986 with the residents in <br />Knollwood, Knollwood West, Knollwood West Second, <br />additons and all properties abutting Ulysses Street <br />north of 199th street regarding proposed bituminous <br />overlay improvements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council received and reviewed a <br />report from the City Staff on said information meeting <br />at its June 2nd Council meeting and did call for a <br />Council public hearing on the proposed improvements of <br />Knollwood, Knollwood West, Knollwood West Second, <br />and all properties abutting Ulysses Street north of <br />199th Street; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice <br />of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held <br />thereon the 7th day of July, 1986 and continuted to the <br />21st day of July, 1986, at which all persons desiring <br />to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard <br />thereon. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Elk <br />River, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as prepared. <br /> <br />2. If the Project does not proceed, the money funded by <br />the improvement bond can be used elsewhere. <br /> <br />3. This project is ordered with the understanding that <br />the City Council is awaiting the results of the <br />Tyler Street Study before proceeding with this <br />project. <br /> <br />4.
