<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 86-~3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATIONS AND AUTHORIZING <br />PURCHASE OF PICK-UP TRUCK FOR SEWER DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Law provides that purchases for goods of <br />$15,000 or less may be purchased by receiving informal <br />quotations, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Elk River has received the following <br />quotations for the purchase of a pick-up truck for the <br />City's Sewer Department: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />QUOTATION <br />$8,542.53 <br /> <br />Elk River Ford Mercury <br /> <br />Saxon's Cloverleaf Motors, Inc. <br />(Chevrolet Truck) <br /> <br />$8,968.00 <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the quotation received from Elk River Ford Mercury is <br />the lowest quotation received, and; <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Elk River has <br />determined that it is in the best interest of the City <br />of Elk River to accept the quotation from Elk River <br />Ford Mercury for the purchase of a 1986 Ford F-150 pick- <br />up truck in the amount of $8,542.53. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River that the quotation of Elk River Ford Mercury <br />in the amount of $8,542.53 is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 3rd day of <br />March, 1986. <br /> <br />~ 1 ~/.--,/ 1 <br />c~~~~___ <br /> <br />Richard Hinkle, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />--~~~~ <br /> <br />Th mas R.
