Background/Discussion In the first three months of 2021, staff marketed and promoted the city in various capacities. Advertising In the first quarter,ads were placed in Site Selector, Trade and Industry and Global Executive magazines. And the city will once again take out a full color ad in the MN Twins Yearbook. Marketing Staff is planning on updating the 2019 Community Profile and will partner with Prime Advertising on the layout and updating the graphics. EDA website The EDA website went through a redesign and now includes a video montage, three drone footage videos showcasing the EDA's available sites and updated project information and graphics. Videos Staff is working with the city's cable coordinators on new Pon"ered by our Business videos which will showcase various Elk River businesses. Sponsorships In January,the EDA was the Keynote Speaker sponsor at the Annual EDAM Winter Conference held virtually via the Whova app. The keynote speaker was Peter Kageyama who presented For the Love of Cities.
