WHEREAS, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />the cost of comparable vehicles with comparable options <br />at Vikin9/Southdale Ford and Country Chrysler are as <br />follows: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />BID PER UNIT <br /> <br />TOTAL BID <br /> <br />Vikins/Southdale Ford <br />Country Chrysler <br /> <br />$11 , 111 . 00 <br />$11,600.00 <br /> <br />$22,222.00 <br /> <br />$23,200.00 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the bid received by Hennepin County was <br />si9nificantly lower than those received by the Citv of <br />Elk River". <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Citv Council of the Citv of <br />Elk River, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. All bids received bv the City of Elk River on <br />November 13, 1985, for the purchase of Police <br />Patrol Sedans are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The bid of Vikin9/Southdale Ford in the amount of <br />$11,111 per unit or $22,222 total bid is herebv <br />accepted and the Mayor an Citv Administrator are <br />hereby authorized to execute a contract for the <br />purchase of said vehicles from Vikin9/Southdale <br />
