<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUT I ON 85-65 <br />RESOLUTION REOUESTING MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />TO MAINTAIN THE REST AREA ON HIGHWAY 10 BETWEEN ELK RIVER <br />AND ANOKA AS A YEAR AROUND FACILITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there is a significant amount of traffic <br />between Elk River and Anoka created <br />participating in year around recreational <br />the state of Minnesota, and; <br /> <br />on highway 10 <br />by persons <br />activities in <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is important to the promotion of tourism in Minnesota <br />to maintain rest areas on a year around basis, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River believes it is <br />in the best interest of the citizens and tourists in the <br />State of Minnesota to maintain a year around rest area <br />on Highway 10 between Elk River and Anoka. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River that the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation is hereby requested to maintain the rest <br />area on Highway 10 between Elk River and Anoka on a year <br />ar.ound bas is. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 28th day of <br />October. 1985. <br /> <br />~ /? -'5/~ ,. <br />(~-L--L~~t{~ <br /> <br />Richard Hinkle, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~~---- <br /> <br />Thomas R.
