Request for Action <br /> Cir•ci <br /> Elk - <br /> River= <br /> To Item Number <br /> Housing and Redo ment Authority 7.2 <br /> Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br /> General Business March 1, 2021 Colleen Eddy, Economic Development Specialist <br /> Item Description Reviewed by <br /> Discuss Main/Gates Redevelopment Zack Carlton,Planning Manager <br /> Reviewed by <br /> Cal Portner, City Administrator <br /> Action Requested <br /> Discussion and follow-up from the February 25, 2021, special meeting. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> At the February 25, 2021, HRA special meeting, the Authority discussed their vision for the Main and Gates <br /> redevelopment area. <br /> The consensus the Authority is open to redevelopment that includes a two-story building with professional <br /> services, medical/veterinary clinic, or efficiency type housing on the top level. Commissioners also discussed <br /> access to Gates and/or 3rd Avenue but did not support access to Main Street.
