Tree trimmers are also working on
removing trees along County Road 35 to rebuild the three phase overhead line.

• Started setting poles on County Road 35 for the three phase overhead rebuild. The first
section starts at Zebulon Street and heads east for approximately 3000 feet. Along with
new poles, larger wire will be installed.

• Crews are changing out electric equipment that displays excessive heating on thermal
imaging which can cause equipment failure and outages.

• A residence on Main Street had its electric service disrupted by a construction company
installing communication wires. The service was repaired with new wire and splices.

• Changed ten streetlights along 3rd and 4th Streets north of Highway 10 from the older
high pressure sodium and mercury vapor style lights to LEDs.

• Continue to replace fault indicators as needed. Fault indicators help in pinpointing
underground faults during outages, making restoration quicker.

• The permanent service has been connected at Parkview Apartments. This is a 70-unit
apartment building located south of Coborn’s.

129
