The DC fast charger at the Coborn’s <br />fuel station had 12 sessions and provided 145 kWh. The charger in the ERMU/City Hall <br />parking lot had 6 sessions and provided customers with 100 kWh. There was a total of <br />50 charging sessions and 722 kWh of energy provided over the last 30 days. <br /> <br />• The major topics in 2021 for the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association’s government <br />relations group are: renewable energy proposals, Energy Conservation & Optimization <br />(ECO Act), department of labor charges for inspecting load management radio receivers, <br />Gopher State One Call processes, broadband funding, and bonding for public facilities. <br /> <br />• Staff is continuing to work with Waste Management; McGrann, Shea, Carnival, Straughn <br />& Lamb legal services; and Dave Berg Consulting, LLC on the future operations of the <br />landfill-gas-to-electric plant. <br /> <br />• Energy City Commission has been working with the Elk River Parks and Recreation <br />Department to determine the location of the demonstration solar-powered shelter. The <br />location and type of structure will be finalized in preparation for the Orono Park <br />redevelopment project. The plan is to pour the concrete in 2021 with the construction <br />of the shelter and solar photovoltaic array to occur in 2022. <br /> <br />• Staff completed the annual compliance filing on Distributed Generation Docket No. E999 <br />21-10. This filing provides the Minnesota Department of Commerce with a complete list <br />of all the distributed generation resources that are interconnected, or in the process of <br />interconnection, with the distribution system. This year ERMU connected eight new <br />solar photovoltaic systems. This was the most systems connected in one year. A <br />summary is attached. <br /> <br /> <br />120
