<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 85-4 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator, Robert Middaugh, is terminating his services <br />with the City of Elk River on February 15, 1985; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the recruitment, selection and appointment of his successor is expected <br />to take several months; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Orvil J. Johnson, a recently retired city administrator who has served <br />four Minnesota municipalities over a 32-year period has expressed interest <br />in serving as an acting administrator. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, this <br />4th day of February that Orvil J. Johnson be appointed on an interim basis to serve <br />as Acting City Administrator; that his services shall include, but not be limited <br />to: <br /> <br />1. Attending City Council meetings on first and third Monday evenings <br />2. Coordinate day-to-day activities of City operations <br />3. Pursue and coordinate the several development projects now underway <br />4. Assist the City Council and others in selecting a city administrator <br />5. Pursue any other activities as directed by the Council <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such services shall cease upon the arrival of the newly <br />appointed city administrator, or earlier if directed by the City Council. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that compensation for such services shall be as follows: <br /> <br />1. $150.00 per day. <br />2.
