UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU CommissionChris Kerzman– Engineering Manager <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />January 12, 20216.1k <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> The IT/OT Technician continues to assist staff working from home, as well as working <br />with city staff planning for network upgrades. <br /> The conditional use permit was approved by the City Council at their December 21 <br />meeting. The updated wetland impacts were submitted and reviewed by the Technical <br />Evaluation Panel and approved. The United StatesArmy Corps of Engineers will be <br />updating the permit prior to ERMU’spurchase of additional wetlands credits. <br /> <br /> We are working with our sales representative to receive a firm delivery date for the <br />transformer at the field services facility. They are indicating that it may be delayed until <br />the end of February instead of early February as previously indicated and are citing <br />COVID-19 delays as the reason. <br /> <br /> RJM Construction and our attorney are working through a couple details on the <br />construction management contract, which will be brought to the Commission at the <br />February meeting. RJM continues to assist with pre-construction services. Initial <br />budgetary estimates are slightly higher than budget and they anticipate getting value <br />engineering estimates to us during the week of January 11. <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />110 <br />
