UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO:FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Chris Sumstad– Electric Superintendent <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />January 12, 2021 6.1h <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br />DISCUSSION: <br /> Installed 10 new residential services, which involves the connection of a secondary line <br />once the customer requests service. <br /> Finished tearingdown the overhead line and removing poles for the Edison Street <br />rebuild. <br /> Energized three new underground feeders that were installed for the field services <br />facility expansion project and removed a portion of the overhead line inside the plant <br />yard. Some work will continue indoors this winter and one more feeder will be installed <br />beginning in the spring. <br /> <br /> Finished installing underground line for the Trout Ridge Run Addition. <br /> <br /> Installed a new three phase service for a customer located on Tyler Street. <br /> <br />Rerouted an existing service at the Freeport Street Water Tower for the new Verizon <br />Wireless building that will be constructed at the site. The new service will be connected <br />later this winter. <br /> <br /> Tightened hardware and made repairs as needed on Feeder 61 after the high winds <br />th <br />during the December 23 snowstorm. This line runs through the gravel pits along 213 <br />th <br />Avenue, Proctor Road, and 205 Avenue NW. <br /> <br /> Replaced two streetlights that were struck by vehicles during the December 23 <br />snowstorm, one at Meadowvale Road and County Road 35, the other on southbound <br />Highway 169. <br /> <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />105 <br />
