UTILITIES COMMISSION MEETING <br />TO: FROM: <br />ERMU Commission Chris Kerzman Engineering Manager <br />MEETING DATE: AGENDA ITEM NUMBER: <br />December 8, 2020 6.1k <br />SUBJECT: <br />Staff Update <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />None <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br />The IT/OT Technician has been working to keep our equipment running smoothly with <br />the increase in individuals working from home. There are also a number of projects that <br />ERMU and City IT staff are working on to prepare for installations and updates next <br />year. <br /> <br />The updated Conditional Use Permit was heard at the November 24 planning <br />commission meeting, and will go to City Council on December 21. There were a couple <br />questions on the reason for the site change, the reason for the hours of operation <br />limitation, and the screening we would use around our dumpsters. The permit was <br />approved, with the added restriction that screening around the dumpsters be the same <br />material as the building. <br /> <br />Wereceived five proposals for construction management services for the Field Services <br />Facility Expansion. Adolfson & Peterson Construction, Kraus-Anderson Construction, and <br />RJM Construction were selected for interviews. We completed interviews through video <br />conference on November 24 and selected RJM. They will help with budgeting and <br />planning along with Kodet Architectural Group, LTD. to keep the design process moving <br />forward.
