<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 89 - 4 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE <br />CITY REFERENDUM TO BE HELD FEBRUARY 14, 1989 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there will be a City Referendum for the purpose of <br />purchasing an Aerial platform truck for the City of Elk <br />River Fire Department; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 204B.21(2) the City <br />Council shall appoint election judges for four <br />precincts within the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />all election judges appointed by the City Council are <br />trained election judges and have been certified by the <br />County Auditor as trained election judges; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the referendum will be held at the Fire Department on <br />Tuesday, February 14, 1989. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River, Minnesota that the following persons be <br />appointed as election judges to serve at the February <br />14, 1989, City Referendum: <br /> <br />Pat Brenteson <br />Margaret Davis <br />Evelyn Donais <br />Gloria Hinkle <br />Dorothy Jackson <br />Linda Lee <br />Connie Nemeth <br /> <br />Lola Driessen <br />Jeanne Eggert <br />Ruth Donais <br />Brenda Iliff <br />Marge Kampa <br />Astrid McBeath <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following appointed election <br />judges shall serve as chief judges at the February 14, <br />1989, City Referendum: <br /> <br />Gloria Hinkle (Ward 1) <br />Jeanne Eggert (Ward 3) <br /> <br />Dorothy Jackson (Ward 2) <br />Marge Kampa (Ward 4) <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said "Election Judges" shall be paid <br />at the rate of $5.00 per hour and said "Chief Judges" <br />shall be paid at the rate of $5.50 per hour for hours <br />worked during the February 14, 1989, City Referendum. <br /> <br />Passed and <br />Council of <br /> <br />adopted this 9th day Of~anuar ,1989, by the City <br />the City of Elk River. <br />~.. //~l <br />MnL4 rl...~~ <br /> <br />James A.
