Request for Action <br /> Cir•ci <br /> Elk - <br /> River= <br /> To Item Number <br /> Economic Development Authority 4.6 <br /> Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br /> Consent November 16, 2020 Zack Carlton,Planning Manager <br /> Item Description Reviewed by <br /> Approve Transfer of EDA-owned Property to Cal Portner, City Administrator <br /> the City of Elk River Reviewed by <br /> Action Requested <br /> Approve,by motion,a deed transferring ownership of parcels within the Orono Park Plat from the Economic <br /> Development Authority to the City of Elk River. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> Last month, the EDA discussed transferring two parcels to the City of Elk River to facilitate the replating of <br /> multiple parcels to create a single lot for Orono Park. <br /> The EDA currently owns the parcels that include City Hall, the Public Safety Building, and the parcel with the <br /> pavilion on the south side of Orono Beach. Ownership of the parcels was transferred from the city to the EDA to <br /> allow the issuance of EDA Lease Levy bonds to build City Hall in 1991.
