<br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />May 2, 1946 <br /> <br /> <br />A special meeting of the Village Council was held at the office of the Elk River Public Utilities on <br />May 20, 1946. Members present Mayor Davidson, Leger, Skellenger and Kramer. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to consider the progress of the sewer project. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Leger and seconded by Skellenger that Mabel Nord be appointed Deputy <br />Treasurer and bond set at $10,000. The motion carried. <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />H.A. Briggs <br />Village Clerk <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />By: Leger <br /> <br />RESOLVED, That pursuant to the provisions of Section 160.41 of Minnesota Statutes 1941, the <br />Village Council of the Village of Elk River, Minnesota, does hereby indicate a willingness to <br />participate in the cost of resurfacing a portion of Trunk Highway No. 10 within the corporate limits <br />of said village to a greater width and capacity than is necessary to accommodate normal traffic, the <br />extent of such participation being that the village will pay 25% of the cost of such resurfacing and <br />other incidental work, and be it further <br />RESOLVED, that the mayor and Village clerk of the village of Elk River, Minnesota be, and they <br />are hereby authorized to execute any and all necessary agreements with the State Department of <br />Highways or its officers, in behalf of said village. <br /> <br />Skellenger moved the adoption, and it was declared adopted upon the following vote: <br /> <br />Yeas: Skellenger, Leger, Kramer, Briggs <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />Total Yeas 4, Total Nays 0 <br /> <br />Adopted May 31, 1946. <br /> <br />H.A.
