<br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />May 07, 1945 <br /> <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the municipal building on May 7, 1945 <br />with all members present. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Davidson. <br /> <br />A delegation of local citizens with Mr. Safford as spokesman met with the Council regarding the <br />matter of zoning for residence and business districts. The Council decided to take the matter of <br />zoning up later. <br /> <br />D. Christian met with the Council in regard to an ordinance for pasteurizing milk in the village. No <br />action was taken on the proposition for the present. <br /> <br />Motion by Leger and seconded by Kramer that V.B. Skellenger be chairman of the Zoning <br />Committee.
