<br /> <br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />February 7, 1944 <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held in the Municipal building on February 7, <br />1944. <br /> <br />All members were present. <br /> <br />Motion by Leger and seconded by Kramer that Dr. A. B. Rueblke be appointed as Health Officer <br />for year 1944. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Leger and seconded by Kramer that Rupert Zimmer be appointed Street Commissioner <br />for year 1944. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Bailey, seconded by Leger that Zimmer be paid $1.00 an hour for work don for village <br />for man and truck. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Clerk was instructed to speak to W.M. Roggatz, fire chief, in regard to taking no more than five men <br />on fire calls outside the village.
