<br />VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING <br />October 6, 1958 <br /> <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Elk River Village Council was held at the village hall on October 6, 1958. <br />Members present, Mayor Johnson, Trustees Meyer, Sandberg and Bergerson. Clerk Briggs was <br />absent. Fred Sandberg acted as clerk in the absence of the regular clerk. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Johnson. The minutes of the last meeting were read and <br />approved. <br /> <br />Walter Harky attended the meeting to help on preparation of plumbing code. Attorney Mac Gibbon <br />is to draw up ordinance for publication. <br /> <br />Mr. Wm Mills of Lindsey, Carter, and Associates was also present at the meeting. <br /> <br />A delegation from upper town and the north side appeared for the hearing on sewer and water. A <br />motion was made by Sandberg and seconded by Meyer to table the matter for detailed study by <br />engineer. Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Norton and Mr. Springfield of Moody and Springfield were present in regard to acting as agents <br />for sewer bonds. <br /> <br />Trustee Sandberg presented his resignation to take effect October 31, 1958. Motion by Bergeson <br />and seconded by Meyer to accept resignation. Carried. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />H.A. Briggs <br />Village Clerk <br />
