All members were present. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.

Russell Sass was present. He asked permission to put up signs for no parking between the two
driveways at the Landmark Motel for the reason that customers find no place to stope while looking
at cabins. Upon motion by Sandberg and second by Bergson the request was granted.

Mrs. Glem Striplin met with Council and asked some assistance for food. The Council agreed to
allow her $50.00 in groceries at Davis Food Market for one month.

Harry Dreissig Fire Chief was present and there was discussion regarding fire contracts with outlying
districts. Motion by Meyer and second by Sandberg to table the matter until further investigation can
be made. Carried.

The Mayor appointed members Sandberg and Briggs to meet with the Fire Chief in regard to these
contracts.

Mayor Johnson read a communication from Dean Bailey recommending yield and parking signs on
certain corners. The yield signs will
wait until streets are named.

Mr. Carter of Lindsey, Carter and Associates engineers were present at the meeting and there was
discussion regarding a Lagoon Type sewage disposal project. His services are available if they
showed be needed.

Mayor Johnson reported that the Bell Telephone Co. would like space in the downtown park for a
new building.
