<br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 90 - ~ <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A FINE SCHEDULE FOR PARKING VIOLATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of ~lk River has not had an increase in its <br />parking fine, for numerous years; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Elk River directed the <br />Chief of Police to review the parking fines schedule <br />in Elk River and compare the schedule to neighboring <br />and similar communities; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the information presented to the City Council by the <br />Chief of Police on May 21, 1990, indicated a need to <br />adjust some of the parking fines within the City of <br />Elk River. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Elk River that the parking fine schedule shall be <br />established effective 7/1/90 as follows: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Violation of the over-time parking <br />restrictions $ 5.00 <br />Violation of the ProhibitedlImproper <br />Vehicle Parking restrictions 10.00 <br />Violation of the Fire Lane/Hydrant <br />parking restrictions 15.00 <br />Violation of the Winter Parking <br />Ordinance 10.00 <br />Violation of the No Parking 2:00 a.m. - <br />6:00 a.m. requirement 10.00 <br />Violation of the handicapped parking <br />only requirement 100.00 <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk <br />River that if the parking fines are not paid and <br />received within seven days, then the fines will <br />automatically doubled and this requirement will be <br />imprinted with bold letters on the citations. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Elk River <br />on the 21st day of May, 1990. <br /> <br /> <br />James A.
