RESOLUTION 90 - jL RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER A RESOLUTION ALLOWING A MODEL HOME IN PINEWOOD SUBDIVISION FOR TERRY LEE REALTY AND HOMES WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council has reviewed the situation of Pinewood Subdivision regarding lot sales; and, WHEREAS, Terry Lee Douglas of Terry Lee Realty and Homes has indicated that he is in possession of the majority of the remaining undeveloped lots in that subdivision; and, WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council has deemed it appropriate to grant a temporary extension to the time period for a model home in Pinewood Subdivision to aid in the development of the remaining lots. . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, that a model home in Pinewood Subdivision for Terry Lee Realty and Homes will be allowed with the following stipulations: 1. That a six month temporary extension to the time limit allowed for model homes IS GRANTED TO Terry Lee Realty and Home on Lot 6, Block 1, Pinewood Subdivision. On August 1, 1990, use of the dwelling on Lot 6, Block 1, Pinewood Subdivision as a model will cease and all signage and evidence of it being a model removed. 2. That it is the obligation of the petitioner of the request for this model home to familiarize himself with all of the other code requirements of the City of Elk River regarding model homes and that all of those code requirements are adhered to. 3. That the 32 square foot subdivision identification sign advertising Pinewood Subdivision be allowed to remain while a variance regarding the size of that sign is being acted on with the condition that a permit is issued for that sign. Further, that the day after the City Council acts on the variance request, said sign is removed from premise if the variance is denied. .
