Call Meeting to Order/Roll Call <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic <br /> Development Authority Together Elk River Sub-Committee was called to order at <br /> 9:00 a.m. by Charlie Blesener. <br /> 2. Consent Agenda <br /> Motion by Debbi and seconded by Kaylin to approve the July 27, 2020 <br /> Meeting Minutes. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> 3. Together Elk.River Marketing Campaign <br /> TER Week: The week is August 23 -29`h.The group discussed purchasing Facebook <br /> Boost ads and Google ads to promote the Support Together Elk River Spirit Week. <br /> The budget starting out for Together Elk River was $9,000 as of today there was <br /> $8,457.51 spent or allocated,which leaves $542.49 remaining. Kaylin will check with <br /> Liz on the cost of Facebook boosted ads. Kaylin created and shared a couple options <br /> to use for the'Facebook campaign.The group liked the picture with the red <br /> roof/kiosk and would like to see the dates of the week added to the final ad. The ads <br /> would run the week prior to the event and the week of the event. <br /> Motion by Debbi and seconded by Kaylin to allocate half of the remaining <br /> $542.49 budget towards social media ads and purchased by the Social Media <br /> Task Force. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> Marketing Outreach: Information of Support Together Elk River Spirit Week went <br /> out last week in the Chamber newsletter. The Chamber is working on a promotional <br /> list of all the business promotions, once complete the list will be posted on the <br /> Chamber website and promoted via social media sites.The Social Media Task Force <br />
