<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 88- 10 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE MINNESOTA LIBRARY ASSOCIATION <br />1988 LEGISLATIVE PLATFORM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Library Association (MLA) has adopted a <br />1988 Legislative Platform calling for the continued <br />funding of existing library programs and for new <br />Legislative initiatives relating to public library <br />services, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Library Board has reviewed the MLA 1988 <br />Legislative Platform and found the MLA position to be <br />in the best interest of the Elk River Public Library, <br />and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Library Board has passed a motion <br />requesting the Elk River City Council to support the <br />1988 MLA Legislative Platform, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council has reviewed the MLA 1988 <br />Legislative Platform and has found this position to be <br />in the best interest of the City of Elk River and the <br />Elk River Public Library. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Elk River that the City supports and endorses the MLA <br />1988 Legislative Platform as adopted by the MLA Board. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 1st day of <br />February, 1988. <br /> <br />&db ?d ~~J <br /> <br />Estelle E.
