<br />-- <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 93 - 12 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA AMENDING <br />SECTION 300.00 OF THE CITY CODE, "WARDS" <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 300.00 of the City Code of <br />Ordinances is hereby amended by eliminating the Precincts in <br />the City of Elk River and that the existing Wards shall remain <br />intact. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the boundaries for wards 1, 2, 3, and 4 <br />have been redescribed to show the elimination of precincts and <br />shall read as follows: <br /> <br />300.00 - WARDS <br /> <br />The City of Elk River shall have a ward system for the election <br />of Councilmembers as follows: <br /> <br />WARD 1: <br /> <br />Northern Boundary: All that property within the <br />corporate limits of the City lying south of the following <br />described northern boundary: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of Ranch Road (CR 33) and <br />the Zebulon Avenue alignment. East on Ranch Road to <br />County Road 1. <br /> <br />Western Boundary: All that property within the <br />corporate limits of the City lying east of the following <br />described western boundary: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of 2l7th Avenue alignment <br />and the Zebulon Street alignment. South along the Zebulon <br />Street alignment to the Mississippi River. <br /> <br />Eastern Boundary: All that property within the <br />corporate limits of the City lying west of the following <br />described eastern boundary: <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of County Road 1 and County <br />Road 33. South on County Road 1 to County Road 32. West <br />on County Road 32 to Lander Street. South on Lander <br />Street to County Road 35. East on County Road 35 to <br />Meadowvale Road. East on Meadowvale Road to Xenia <br />Avenue. South on Xenia Avenue to US Highway 10. West on <br />US Highway 10 to the US Highway 10 Bridge and the Lake <br />Orono Shoreline, thence following the Lake Orono shoreline <br />in an easterly direction across the Orono Dam bridge; then <br />following the Elk River until it joins with the <br />Mississippi River. <br />
