ELK RIVER MUNICIPAL UTILITIES <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF THE <br />UTILITIES COMMISSION <br />HELD AT THE ELK RIVER FIRE STATION EOC CONFERENCE ROOM <br /> <br />July 30, 2020 <br />Members Present: Chair John Dietz, Vice Chair Al Nadeau, Commissioners Paul Bell, <br /> Mary Stewart, and Matt Westgaard <br />ERMU Staff Present: Michelle Canterbury, Executive Administrative Manager <br />Others Present: Debra Englund, CEO HRExpertiseBP <br /> <br />1.0 CALL MEETING TO ORDER <br />The special meeting of the Utilities Commission was called to order at 8:35 a.m. by Chair Dietz. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />2.0 BUSINESS ACTION <br />2.1 Interview Training <br /> <br />Ms. Englund conducted an interview training session with the Commission.The interview <br />questions were reviewed. <br />The Commission recessed at 9:45 a.m. for a break and reconvened at 9:55 a.m. <br />2.2 General Manager Interviews & Direction <br />The Commission interviewed twocandidates for the General Manager position. <br />The first interview was conducted with Joseph Adams. <br /> <br />The Commission recessed at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and reconvened at 12:45 p.m. <br /> <br />The second interview was conducted with Gregory Drent. <br /> <br />After lengthy deliberation, the Commission had consensus to continue deliberation at the next <br />commission meeting. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Elk River Municipal Utilities Commission Special Meeting Minutes <br />July 30, 2020 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />41 <br /> <br />
