<br /> <br />Request for Action <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />To Item Number <br />Mayor and City Council 4.9 <br />Agenda Section Meeting Date Prepared by <br />Consent August 3, 2020 Lauren Wipper, Human Resources Manager <br />Item Description Reviewed by <br />Multipurpose Facility Superintendent Retro Pay Cal Portner, City Administrator <br />Reviewed by <br /> <br />Action Requested <br />Approve, by motion, retroactive pay for Multipurpose Facility Superintendent Tim Dalton. <br /> <br />Background/Discussion <br />Tim Dalton has been serving in the capacity of Recreation Manager since Steve Benoit left on July 1, 2020. <br />With the approval of the Multipurpose Facility Superintendent position description, Tim Dalton will be <br />moved into that position. <br /> <br />The Multipurpose Superintendent and the Recreation Manager positions fall into the same pay grade in the <br />city’s pay plan, 5E. As Mr. Dalton will be moving to that pay grade at step A, staff recommends retroactive <br />pay to July 2, 2020, the day after Mr. Benoit left. <br /> <br />Financial Impact <br />The recreation manager position was budgeted for half of 2020 at step C and half at step D.
