City of <br /> Elk Special Meeting of the Elk River <br /> River Economic Development Authority <br /> Together Elk River Subcommittee <br /> Held via Zoom Meeting <br /> Monday,June 29, 2020 <br /> Members Present: Jennifer Wagner, Charlie Blesener, Debbi Rydberg, Katie Jenison, <br /> Economic Development Director,Amanda Othoudt; Economic <br /> Development Specialist, Colleen Eddy;and Communications <br /> Director, Kaylin Clement <br /> Members Absent: None <br /> Others Present: None <br /> I. Call Meeting to Order/Roll Call <br /> Pursuant to due call and'notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Economic <br /> Development Authority Together Elk River Sub-Committee was called to order <br /> which included roll call at 9:04 a.m. by Jennifer Wagner. <br /> 2. Consent Agenda <br /> Motion by Charlie and seconded by Kaylin to approve the June 15, <br /> 2020°Meeting Minutes. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> 3. Together Elk River Marketing Campaign <br /> Banners:The Design Task Force will upload the banner template and size to <br /> Dropbox this week. The task force is still working on two photos for the Shop and <br /> Restaurant banners and have reached out,to CHOW, Daddy O's, Olive a Day and <br /> Kemper Drug. <br /> Star News article:Jennifer is working with Jim Boyle on an article for the TER <br /> campaign and its community spirit. <br /> TER Week: The group discussed celebrating the TER campaign during the week of <br /> August 23 —29, 2020. Ideas shared were to it be like "Give to the Max" day, tying in <br /> • the food shelf, have the Mayor do a Proclamation, sidewalks sales, food trucks, <br /> restaurants offer"TER" specials. <br /> Window Decals,Yard Signs, and Stickers: Charlie is working with the two DECA <br /> students who are distributing signs, and contacting businesses to submit their <br /> business in the city's business directory. The group would like to see TER tables set <br />
