<br />RESOLUTION 91 - 74 <br />RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REVOKING AND ESTABLISHING A MUNICIPAL <br />STATE AID STREET AND REVISING THE FEDERAL AID <br />SECONDARY SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it appears to the City Council of the City of Elk River that the road <br />hereinafter described as a Municipal State Aid Street under the provIsions of <br />Minnesota L&ws should be revoked; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it appears to the City Council of the City of Elk River that the street <br />hereinafter described should be designated Municipal State Aid Street under the <br />provisions of Minnesota Law. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The street described as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />Orono Road (Route 113) from Concord Street NW to T.H. 10 <br /> <br />be and hereby is, revoked as a Municipal State Aid Street of said City subject to <br />the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The street described as follows to-wit: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Commencing at the intersection of Orono Road and Concord Street NW then curving <br />southerly to the north line of the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 32, then <br />westerly to the NW corner of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 32 then <br />northerly to T.H. 10 <br /> <br />be and hereby is established, located and deSignated a Municipal State Aid Street of <br />said City subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State <br />of Minnesota. <br /> <br />3. The Commissioner of Transportation is hereby requested to recommend to the Federal <br />Highway Administration the portion of F.A.U. Route 9004 described above in item #1 <br />be revoked and re-established as described in item #2 above to be part of the <br />Federal Aid Secondary System in said City eligible to receive Federal Aid. <br /> <br />4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward the certified <br />copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his <br />consideration, and that upon his approval of the designation of said road or portion <br />thereof, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid <br />Street of the City of Elk River, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid <br />Street 113. <br /> <br />i~~~~d and adopted by the City Council of the City 1 Elk River this /~~ ,~~y <br /> <br />I / / ./ <br />/......./!...../7.
