<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 91 - Ll <br />RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE <br />ELK RIVER FIRE AND AMBULANCE SERVICE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Fire and Ambulance Service has been in <br />operation serving the needs of the citizens of Elk <br />River for 39 years; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Fire and Ambulance Service has had a <br />working relationship with Health One for approximately <br />four years; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Elk River Fire and Ambulance Service is proposing <br />a dual coverage primary service area agreement with <br />Health One who will complement the City's current <br />Basic Life Support coverage with the additional <br />Advanced Life Support Coverage. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Elk River that it hereby endorses the proposal of <br />the Elk River Fire and Ambulance Service to further <br />its relationship with Health One in its efforts to <br />obtain an Advanced Life Support License for the City's <br />Service area to improve life support services <br />providing that no additional cost to or substantial <br />loss of revenue is incurred by the Elk River Fire and <br />Ambulance Service and, also, provided that this does <br />not create undue increases in the cost of the services <br />provided. <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the City <br />River, Minnesota, this 1st day <br /> <br />Council of the City of Elk <br /> <br /> <br />of ~r~ 12%1 <br /> <br /> <br />James A.
