The project shall be inspected by the city building official and <br />fire marshal to verify compliance with all building and fire codes. <br />2. A Knox Box shall be mounted as close as possible to the gate. <br />The final location shall be approved by the fire chief. <br />3. An amendment to this Conditional Use Permit will be required <br />for future expansions/additions not shown on the site plan u" <br />dated May 18, 2020. - cR as <br />Background/Discussion <br />b. <br />The property is zoned I3 (General Industrial) where chemical <br />storage/bulk storage of fuel, e.g., petroleum, require a Conditional Use RR <br />Permit (CUP). The applicant is seeking a CUP to install four 30,000- -- <br />r 0 - <br />gallon chemical storage tanks. Hwr1 <br />'-_— CR 12 ----- <br />The four tanks will be surrounded by a horseshoe -shaped access drive' — <br />�W <br />which will support storage tank trucks to and from the site. The <br />perimeter will have a chain link security fence with gates at both the <br />entrance and exit locations onto 185"' Circle. <br />The applicant is proposing vegetative screening around the perimeter <br />of the site. <br />Figure I <br />- - <br />Planning Commission <br />The Planning Commission felt the request was a reasonable use of the property and had no <br />objections to <br />the request. <br />No questions or comments were received prior to the meeting or during the virtual meeting, no one <br />called or emailed expressing concerns for or against the request.
